Do any of you guys have a Charger with the -
L42: Headlamp time delay with lamp-on reminder
option? I need some information on relay location and wire lengths for the harness. Thanks! #A_Toast#

I have it, but most of the parts are under the A/C duct under the dash. I bet Nacho has some info on this topic. Steve

Please send me a PM or e-mail and I will take a peek. My memory glands are weak, sorry. Steve

Today is your lucky day! I took these YEARS ago when I swapped over all the wiring to my fresh frame. Try hidden headlights, delay, power windows and cruise under your dash! The fat relay closer to the glovebox is the delay. The smaller one next to it and close to the defrost duct is the headlight door motor relay. Both use phillips screws from underneath and I think I remember star washers as well. Not sure on wiring specifics...mine was all there from the factory. Have fun!

Outstanding find! It is a huge help! The connector and wiring match the diagram. #2Thumbs# Assuming your relay is the original 3488076 part, it confirms my suspicion the mounting bracket changed; if the 3488391 really is supposed to supercede the 3488076. The mounting bracket on the 3488391 is different and won't mount in the same location. Thanks for the photos, they're a big help!

Awesome reference photos. I'll be saving copies of those. #2Thumbs#
Maybe this should move to the tech archive when all is said and done?

I have more of the gauge wiring area if anyone would like me to add them. Might be a couple days and a PM wouldn't hurt to jog my memory glands.

I wouldn't mind seeing them for reference, Steve.
