Got anything on the line Tom? What are your plans? My plan is to JY more, work on my cars a minimum of one day a week, and IF I get really bored, perhaps entertain a "side job" fixing cars every once in a while. If things go well.....I wont be doing much of the latter. Basically self employment....doing a little of this...and a little of that. I have basically been doing that for the last 8 months. My "day job" paycheck sure wasn't paying the bills.

I believe that I'd starve if I attempted to do restorations for a living. I have been kicking around the idea of opening a second eBay store, specifically for 71-74 b body parts.

As your resto business grows, you'll need more help. I hear Lamont is still looking... #yb665#

Employed at McCook Community College since Oct. '98 as Computer and Technology support. Most of the work here is deploying, maintaining, supporting computers, printers and other tech related equipment. Am very thankful for this job, generally satisfying and low stress, decent wages and benefits.
I'm 58 and now the end of road is in sight, though not anxious to jump outa here. As the years pass, some perspectives change.
Also, do the children's sermon at a nearby small town church, and in days gone by was one of the speakers. Seminary was once a desire- maybe still a desire.
