Job? You call what I do a job? Okay..... 4 days a week (sometimes) I drive 3 miles from my house and go to a building that allegedly is a automotive service center. I clock in, go out into the deserted shop, sit down on my favorite rag can, drink coffee, and surf the internet all day. On very rare occasions, I am interrupted by the overhead speaker....which blares.."Tom, you have a ticket in your box" At that point, I check out the vehicle, the customer declines the work, and I get to sit back down on my beloved rag can. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, I get to work with my old PAL Ron, and we sit around most of the day talking about the Atlanta Braves. Somewhere around here, I have a piece of paper that claims I am an ASE certified Automotive Master Tech. On my 3-4-5 off days per week, I choose to wander aimlessly around every do it yourself junk yard that I can find within 500 miles of my home. , buying any parts that I have a hunch that I can resell for reasonable or above reasonable profit. Come on Tom, tell us what you really do. You know, the pink outfit, hat and cane.

I am 47 years old and have worked in the computer field for 25 some odd years. Started with computer hardware repair, thanks to my many hours of turning a screw driver on my 70 Barracuda and other car repairs for my friends. I figured if I can work under the hood on my Cuda that I could work under the hood on my computer.... ;D I have been a Network Engineer for 15 years and work now as a Network Administrator for the last 3.5 years, sit on my but half the time searching the internet for this, that and the other thing....job related that is.
