What's the scoop on these? Is it just the SE cars that got them? Anyone know?

all cars could have them as option and I think SES was part of package... maybe Rallyes too. not sure thought.
73/74 SE WAS DEFINITELLY part of package since they are in fact wider... totally diff

My Rallye diesn't have them. Actually, is has not chrome mouldings at all.

I found and stripped a 72 SE at a junkyard this summer and it had the wide moldings like a 73-74 SE. I thought that was a bit odd.

#SayWhat# Does anyone have a pic of what this thread is about, so a poor ignorant Chargerphile (me) could be enlightened? I THINK you all are talking about the chrome moulding strip under the door (when it's closed), mounted to the same rocker panel that the scuff plates are. Is that right? I'm just curious...just tryin' to get smarter! ;D ~Jer~

this mold below the car/door between wheel openings: here is on a 73 rallye, same on all 71/74 but 73/74 SEs here the 73/74 SEs ( and apparently also some spring specials ):
