This info was moved here from a different section, in a different topic about Stuga's car. It actually is Stuga's topic.

ORIGINALLY POSTED BY BROCK Thank you brock. just can't wait to get it all back together and feel the power and wind again (notice I didn't add wind in my hair Looks like you're taking a break But you're so close to feeling that wind... Is that the louvered hood insert hole you got there? Would you share demension & mounting location measurements?

ORIGINALLY POSTED BY STUGA Yes it is a R/T louver bulge hood, but my friend that I purchased it from had a shop swear that they could powder coat the top louvers with out melting them yep you guess it, they melted it. I purchased the hood with the lower louver mounting plate from him since he ended up using a air grabber hood. I did find a superbee insert from e-bay that I will be using instead. Both inserts use the same measurement and same mounting holes. The only difference that I know of is the R/T has holes drilled for the emblems in the side of the metal bulge and the superbee insert has the holes drilled in the insert itself. If you still need the measurements let me know and I find sometime go get them for you

ORIGINALLY POSTED BY BROCKDoh on the shop. Good to know about the hoods being essentually the same for R/T & Bee - helps both owners out when in dire straits. I'm not asking for too much - just 18 measurements as seen here: I hope to get someone in the fibrglass hood business to take notice & offer this option!

just a question about!!!
I never have know about R/Ts and Bees HOODS and INSERTS are diff size. Of course I know about R/Ts hoods have the holes to lettering and Bees not, and backwards about insert... but DIFF HOOD and diff INSERT SIZE ?
is that what you are asking about brock ? or do you have a plaing bulged hood and wanting to mount an insert ?
BTW I LOVE BEES inserts, not R/Ts thought... would be great they were functional

I don't think the hole for the insert is a different size. As far as I know only the location of the emblems are different. I really can't imaging mopar making two different machine set-ups to stamp out two different hoods for the same year. I still have the lower metal section for the R/T with the hopes someone will repo the top louver insert for the R/T insert.
