Work on the old Dodge continues in spite of the weather in the Northeast. Brake pads, packing bearings and finishing up some wiring. I prefer driving them in the summer instead of working on them, so I take advantage of the long downtime even if it is 24 degrees in the garage. Someday I'll get the garage insulated and some form of heat!

Well, I've got a Mopar show next month, and whilst I was happy to just wash the Bee and take it along, I decided one day "Stuff it.....the valve covers are coming off". One thing led to another, and in the last few days I've tidied up the engine bay...... Old wiper motor : restored wiper motor : Old engine bay : almost finished engine bay :

I'm not sure if I'm more impressed by the transformation, or the fact that your weather allows you to go to a car show next month. Either way, very nice, and congratulations.

talking about my car... is WAAAAAAY DELAYED, for whatever reason. For a while I'm searching for Machine gun tips restore job, but still dunno if powdercoat or ceramicoat. Several bussines around tell me powdercoat won't hold the exhaust heat and fumes and can't find ceramicoat shops down here

That's too bad...ceramic would seem to be the way to go.
Bring 'em with you when you come to Carlisle next year!

The Dana is home
When it gets warm I will go through and get it ready to play in the SE Maybe
Or just put in the corner and wait for the body to play catch up
Fastenal didn't take as long to get it here compared to getting the fender up from Kansas
But they destroyed the box it was in
It is cheap shipping!
