It was pretty cloudy. If we get any breaks of sun tomorrow,I'll post a new pic. We're looking at rain here all week. Coming your way. I'll probably work in the garage cleaning engine parts and installing them on the engine. Check out my recent pics!

Not sure if it helps but here's a few more taken today in the sun. I can't guarantee it's anymore accurate than anybody else's. It's ppg but there's a lot of variations out there. Took it out today for a short trip. The 383 while a little tired, still pushes you back in the seat. Originally had a 3:23 rear but someone in the past installed 3:55s. Definitely feels faster than my 340 car. Would make a great sleeper with a 440. Thanks for the heads-up. Can't expect too much good weather this time of year.

I'm sure it's just the light. I took 2 pics of my engine when I pulled it out of the car. In the natural light it looked redish/orange and under the fluorescent light it looked orange.

See, now it has the bluish tint to it.

Interior is about half done. The matching interior is out of a donor car. Spent a lot of time wrestling with warped door panels. Interesting the leather inserts are more blue than gray, but they are factory. Painted the buddy seat and spent time cleaning the dash pad and instrument panel. Used finesse it on the instrument bezels which were hazed over pretty badly, much better now. Took it out for a quick run yesterday and got a warm reception. Two neighbors up the road stopped, staired and waived as I went buy... pretty cool! 3rd gen's were a common sight around here twenty-five/thirty years ago, but far and few today. Us "Seasoned" folks remember them!

That looks great. You just don't see many gunmetal interiors.
