I'm really sorry to hear that Nacho. I had hoped things were getting better, though I suspected not.
How are your food supplies holding out? Do you still have a safe way to receive packages?

yes, I can still get stuff on the same way.
The food sent by members board is allmost gone. Some stuff is gone since couple of months ago, some other are still alive because I have being using it with "restrictions" trying to get it longer as posible. Maybe still have 10-15% of the full provisions sent

So, I placed a order on Amazon to be shipped directly to Nacho's shipper in Florida
To some degree.....it was not as great of a way to shop as I previously thought. The free shipping is not really free. LOL Should have known better You really notice that when ordering heavy items such as flour, sugar, rice, beans....etc etc Also, the prime/free shipping selection is somewhat slim. No opportunity to save by purchasing a store brand.
For those who want to help Nacho and his family....... My order was lighter than I would have liked in the rice, beans, flour, sugar categories.

I never have trusted on the free shipping therm... they simply add the shipping cost on the final price PER ITEM, which becomes expensive buying a large ammount of items because each one gets the shipping charge added once again and once again and once again. When buying one item can be just right on price, but adding lot of stuff becomes more expensive.
for example:
one xxx piece is priced $20 with free shipping
another vendor offers same xxx piece on $15 plus $6 on S&H. That makes $21... better the other offer
but click you will be buying 2 of xxx.... first vendor will get $40
second vendor will charge $30 plus mostly sure same $6 on S&H... $36. Let's say it charge couple of buck more for the extra item... still will be $38, so still cheaper.
I still search allways for separated S&H quotes except when buying just one piece of the item

More about inflation.
one and a half week my favourite McDonald's combo was the CBO hamburguer ( dunno if you have it there ) which is not the cheapest so I think the last time I eat it was maybe 8 or 10 months ago. One and a half week ago it was priced on 75K Bs ( one month before it was on 65K Bs ).... yesterday it was on 120K Bs.
and the same with EVERYTHING!!!

Sounds like a good time to go Dirk Pitt. LOL In one of the novels. Pitt escapes Cuba in a bathtub equipped with an outboard motor. Get to the Florida coast and I'll pick you up. * *
