Guy, things are the same... but I don't know what to tell you. This is embarrasing!!!!. Also I just paid a shippment from USA ( around 11 cubic ft ), where thanks God, just MAYBE couple of them are really mine. Rest are from friends buying car parts and professional sound equipment so they have to pay me back their part. One of the things coming to me is an AM/FM Radio aftermarket modern replacement for the Charger, which I have dealing since last year with an extra money I had saved for that. Got it on a GOOD price from a member here.
I normally use to get together around 6-8 cubic ft because I get charged a minimal rate for sea shipping. It uses to be $150 being that cubic ft capacity... then around extra $20 for each cubic ft.
What kind of stuff are being imposible to find down here:
-Flour... both, corn and wheat
-Sugar
-Powdered milk ( we used a lot at home )
-Deodorant
-Toilet Paper
-Shampoo
-Cooking oil
-Soap
-Rice
-Butter, margarine ( dunno if you have that up there, is like butter but vegetable instead from milk )
Some stuff is sometimes available but is imposible to be paid... too expensive due the inflation.
-oats ( which anyway without milk to make breakfast, we don't buy it )
-cereals ( same as above )
-Powered Chocolate ( same as above )
-beans and similars ( chickpeas, lentils, peas ), not in cans.
-Spaguetti or similars
-Tuna cans or whatever similar
that kind of stuff is posible to be shipped by sea without refrigeration, ALTHOUGH I'm asking to my shippr if this is for real posible.
Is amazing we can't find sugar, rice corn flour and chocolat since WE ARE PRODUCERS of these products. Venezuelan Chocolat is in fact one of the bests in the world!!! And Corn flour ( precooked ) is the ingredient for one for the main food down here, called "Arepas". It uses to be a breakfats &/or dinner food. It like a bread piece filled which whatever we have to fill it ( Cheese, Bacon, Jam, Eggs, Avocado, Chicken, Meat, whatever... ). Is actually one of the Main foods down here
