I have done 3 recovers on my cars. I have not glued the headrest foam.
I am going to be watching this with great interest. My last recover was that style covers, also in black.
The results were not as good as I expected. Not as good as the 71 style covers I had done previously.
Loose and some puckers. I posted my pics and story up here years and years ago...and the consensus was the covers were not made properly.
If you experience any of that.....steaming the foam may help some as well as sitting the seats out in the sun

Thank's for the info Tom. What the cover a legendary or pui? I believe I read your thread. I have researched allot and by what other's have said and dispite my notion to go cheap, I took everyones advise and went with Legendary interiors. I will post more progress as I get time for the project. I checked Jo Ann Fabrics, Rural King, and Home Depot for the hog rings. Nothing resembles what I used on the D150 bench seat. So I think I will just order them and wait. I did however buy some muslin from Jo Ann fabrics, it was cheap. Less than $4 for 2 yards!

Fewer hog farmers these days, I guess.
I'm sure PITA, the Humane Society, and others frown on piercing snouts these days.

Looks like good progress. Can't wait to see the finished results.
And now you have a lifetime supply of hog rings. So that's nice.

Looks like you're using the same cheap hog ring pliers I have. I haven't started my seat recover project yet but was considering investing in a better (read more $$$) pair of pliers. Do the cheap pliers work pretty well?

Do the cheap pliers work pretty well? The harbor freight pliers work well. No complaints. The free pliers I had from LMC trucks are JUNK!
