Yup beautiful, now the fun part of not getting any scratches on them, lol. And the smooth look is really cool.

Thanks all. Custom Plating Specialist in Brillion Wisconsin did the work. Wasn’t cheap but they guarantee their work. It took about a month longer than they stated. The bumpers could have been packed better when shipping them back to me. A few of the mounting tabs on the back got a little bent in transit but it was an easy fix. But the finish is flawless even in all the spots they filled.

Wow those look fantastic! I have a '73 and would love to get rid of that plastic/rubber spacer and get it pulled in tight to the body like the earlier models. What is involved to do that? Is it just shortening brackets or does the exterior of the bumper need trimming?

Rear, getting 71/72 bumper brackets
Front, elongating frame rail brackets holes to be able to tuck in the bumper.

Yes I have 71/72 brackets for the rear. I did elongate the holes on the front brackets. The issue I ran into was the headlights were too far forward after moving the bumper back. So I had to shorten the headlight brackets so the grill would fit.

Interesting, so then there aren't any modifications to the styling lines of the bumpers, just structural mounting changes? Then the bumpers line right up w/ the lines of the fenders? I'll add this to my list of mods for exterior on my '73 SE. Also plan on welding closed the holes for the bumperettes to get cleaner lines.
Where's a good source for the 71/72 brackets on the rear?
Thanks, Adam

Rear brackets occasionally pop up on eBay, some are in good condition. Couple listed right now.

and I have couple of rears too that could get rid off... but not now, since they are 8K kilometers from me at this moment LOL Interesting, so then there aren't any modifications to the styling lines of the bumpers, just structural mounting changes? Then the bumpers line right up w/ the lines of the fenders? fenders could be interchanged between 71/74s too, won't have problems with doors and bumpers either... just some fitting differences with radiator core support and the wheel opening height being higher on 73/74 than earliers by an inch or so. Hard to notice once mounted
