I am digging around for that other picture but no luck so far.I had one that had the charger emblem like this but instead of the 440 it had an emblem like on the front bumper only smaller and turned sideways (running front to back)But it was in the same place as the 440.

Just to chime in... I used to work for a guy who still has his black 72 SE 440 Brougham, power windows, leather interior, etc. Seeing his car everyday is what inspired me to buy mine. It looks exactly like the black SE up top, he has the 440 Magnum on his fender and this was back in 1984 that was the first time i ever saw it. I used to see it sitting in his field and when he sent it away to get restored they put the emblems in the same place, though the SE script they placed below the laurel which looks kind of weird. He parks it outside I'll get a pick when I'm back near his place. I think I also downloaded a picture of a 'survivor' car with one. Here's a pic I have. Maybe we should start another thread as this was originally to do with a Rallye not an SE.

I didn't know the '72s had the Charger script that high up on the front fender and the engine script l@@ks like an E body hood callout..they're smaller like that. HUH
So in '71 the Charger script is much lower on the fender almost in line with the wheel opening and the SE wreath was the only medallion on the sail panel? 72 is shown as above? 73 and 4 used the Charger script on the doors along with the arrows and SE wreath on the pillars?
Now I'm confused...

It seems the Magnum callout on the bulge hood is bigger. I had a set - but found a good home for them. Look in your personal galleries....A brown one just flashed across my other screen with this big Magnum callout on the bulge & small Charger on the fender. That hood emblem would shoutout & obscure the charger emblem IF they were placed together on the fender. There must be 2 different sized magnum emblems. Jers cars are early 72 (If memory serves me correctly) So, Maybe it could be a midyear thing
