EAT YOUR HEARTS OUT!!!!!
It may not look like much on the out side but it is mine bought and paid for! and it works good!
My advice too any one that wants one for what its worth buy a NEW one! not a used one unless you can take it apart your self.
If I knew half the problems I was going to have and half the expense I would have ran. And I almost did several times.
But at last my cheap side said I could do it.
I ended up starting back up on another project today.
A car I was supposed to have painted long before now
I had no idea how long building this thing would take
In the beginning I thought oh well a month or two..... HA!
Ten months Later
I am done yes I did take off two months. oh and I had my surgery too on my wrist, but still. 10 months?
I still cant belive it took me so long!
But I did have too straiten every piece of metal and patch most every piece as well, Cut and Modifie the Air box to fit my shop it was 14 tall and Modifie the air duct was 36'' now its a 22'' Make a reducer for the fan from 36'' down too 22'' Have the 3 phase Explosion proof motor rebuilt and sand out the interior as well too paint it and rebuild all the lights and purchase every thing as well. Pluss purchase the missing pieces and have them made up as well. at a sheetmetal shop lots of pieces.
Rebuilding the lights was a huge undertaking in it self.
Sand blast paint install new ballasts and fictures and bulbs wireing ect... No small feat really when you think about how bad of shape this thing was when I started. It was a Pile of twisted and bent up sheet metal and bent up light fixtures thats it.
It had been sitting for at least 10 years in this guys back yard and it had been sitting before that as well were he bought it from in Texas it had been moved three times by him god only knows how many before that kinda explains the missing parts.
Do not ask how much it has cost me but after I started I figured I was already in it too deep too stop now!
I kring at the thought as to how much I have put into it.
