That I want to hear/see! I did find a Barry Grant 850 Demon for $250...that seems to be a good buy from what I can tell.

Which BG is it, and I'm guessing in great shape? If all is well, then yes that would be a nice price. I bought a brand new 750cfm electric choke and vacuum secondaries a while back for a bit more than that lol, it was for my '69 R/T I used to have...

I would drop on a 750cfm "ET" Demon carb. They'll set it up for your car and all you do is bolt it on adjust the idle screw and end of story. www.4secondsflat.com/fbo__et_slayer_carburetors.htmIt'll be a perfect size for your engine Unless your running 550+hp and 6500+rpm on that 440. You can run a bigger carb like a 800cfm TQ or another carb manufacture, but then you'll have to play around with it and have fun with the TQ and you'll have to track down the right TQ to get a decent one. They made a couple different models and finding parts can be hard and $$. I Would call up Don at FBO or get in touch with a Tech at Barry Grant, buy a new one thats perfect and you wont have any worries.

Yeah, if I remember right, supposedly the BG Demon carb's flow like 15% more than what they're rated for... But as for size, it can be jetted back a little.. Not much up on the TQ's, so I can't comment on them..... :/
