Yeah, seems to be one of those rare days today. Weather is nice, temp is great, ect. Went and met up with my dad in town, and ate lunch with him and his current wife. On the way home, I saw an older guy washing his car, a '67 Dodge Coronet R/T silver. I had to turn around and go back. Pulled up in his yard a little, and he said come on and pull up some more in the yard, which I did. Got out and talked for I'd say around half an hour with him, all he owns is Mopar, even the new stuff. He's had a few different Mopars, and has worked for the local Dodge dealer (back in the day, before my time..... ), in the body department. As we talked, he mentioned some stuff, and I think I proved myself in knowing a thing or two about old Mopar, lol. He also has a '66 Dodge Coronet with a '69 440 out of a SuperBee, motor is torn down to a short block, and car needs complete restoration. He said for me to come over one day and we can talk Mopar any time, lol. Looks like I found another Mopar guy here in town, and one that has some time to slow down in this busy world to be able to talk about Mopar, nice #YesNod# . He's got a few motors in his shed, a built 340 ad a couple of 440's, so.... Made me a new friend, lol. He also mentioned that somewhere in his area there's a guy who's got what he thinks is a 2nd Gen Charger that the guy hardly ever drives. Only to the gas station to put some gas in it, and fires it up every once in a while he also noted.... So there are still a few hidden ones in this area..... Found some Hemi cars, some all original.... Like the '70 Hemi Superbird with 4 speed Hurst Pistol Grip..... And some others....
