Has any one out there used Unlimited Products fiberglass fenders? They have fenders for 71-74 years, but will the body lines match up to any year 71,72,73, or74? Are they only good for racing or will they hold up on a bumpy dirt road without cracking? my problem is I just finish my 72 last spring and a FRIEND of my hit a parked truck with it on December 22 as a Christmas present HaHa. My problem is I haven't been able to find a 72 passenger fender anywhere locally or on ebay. Desert Valley has one, but for $700 plus over $200 for delivery it is WAY over my price range. I just want to drive again. Is fiberglass a good choice for a street driven car? Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks

any year body lines will match, diff is mainly on higher wheel opening cut on 73/74 and some internals what won't affect on original metallic ones trying to fit one year from another, but yes on front splash shield
Dunno about FG pieces!

I bought an ancient pair of fibre fenders for my 72. When it quits raining, I'll check the wheel opening against my stock 72s to see if I got lucky with a higher cut wheelwell Anybody recognize the sticker well enough to say what brand they are? I do see a UPF hood in my future!!

Okay, but if I change 1 fender I'll need to change both to keep it looking right. Correct or incorrect? If you can't see both sides at the same time it shouldn't be a problem. I mean "it's not a show car". Just a weekend driver with a 406 Mopar Perfomance create motor. Car is far from original already.

Hey brock is that fiberglass fender cracked anywhere? I mean it's hard to say what kind of driving was done with the car it used to be on, since it is off the car, but I live on a dirt road and don't know how the glass would hold up to bumps and pot holes. I am thinking of getting a F/G hood too( it will probably hold up better than fenders being a bigger, more solid piece), but another company is offering a "power bulge" hood for around $380. I thinks it's vfv or something. If you have not checked them out let me know and I will get the actual web address.

Yep I got my eyes on the $380 hood. It's on my hard drive for when I get ready to order. My bad: I suck at names. My fibre fenders are like 10 pounds apiece even with the sheetmetal headlight buckets & have no cracks. They came off an old dragcar in Michigan. moparblood: I've done the East Texas oilfield roads & gravel roads & dirt roads too. Done em all as a kid at crazy speeds even before DOH came along (love them Daisy Duke shorts) & I'm certain I would not get near a gravel road with the fibre fenders I have I wouldn't worry with potholes & bumps though
