As seen at the LX Gathering & posted by Ponch over at the DC.com site. I can't really dis the individuality of this car (no, I don't like it for individual this n thats.) I plan to do it differently myself: then you might think the same of mine

hey jer, i hear where your coming from my take on the whole "new school" thing is this...if your gonna make your old mopar drive like a new car, why not just BUY an new car? your taking away its identity (imo) when you moderize it in such a extreme way. Dont get me wrong, i dont mind the car but i prefer the "15"mag wheel, mild motor mods type look to a charger which imo will never go out of style.

OK,now another few questions, where are the parts that they took off of this car??? did they trash them?? what color/engine combo did they start with?? i hope it wasnt one of the rare 440 4 speed cars??? im not likeing this car...it looks like any other charger it needs the vinyl top and some chrome accents.and they really messes it up when they put the 71 tail lamps on it....

You guys better be nice, I invited kenny to check out the site Kenny posted more pics of the car too. Here is the thread. www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,41473.0/all.html BTW - And here I thought you would like it Jer, being your black one is already half way there. I like the mono chrome bumper. I actually thought about doing that to mine when I had it. I also like the newer engine. I would think it is a good choice for long trips and fuel milage reasons. Todd Wilson on Troy's site has a '71 with a 318 out of a '90s Dakota in it.

Over all I give the car an 8 its nice, not my cup of Tea but Too each his own after all that's what the Hobbies is all about. Over all I think its a nice ride. I doubt very seriously they did all that to a especially rare original car, I know you guy's don't want too here this but being a 72 there are very few really rare car's especially in the SE's stables. I bet it was a used up hulk some one had started or a poor restoration to start with and then they got it and built it up. More than likely it was a small block car or a 400 car, Being that the Fender Tags are missing from that one pic we may never know so no real foul in my book. Mod it out till your heart is content Kenny! Welcome to Charger land. Drive the heck out of it and enjoy. Ya Might want to add A/C to that bad boy though. Its a good thing when Famous people get involved with antique cars so many politician's are trying to stop the Hobbie. When Famous people squawk foul politician's listen
