I ditched the tan/gold/brown/whatever color interior and switched it to black/white. My upper side panels in the back were shot, so I got some 1/4" foam and some black vinyl from the fabric store and made my own. I put '73 SE emblems in the middle to give them some character. I put an in-dash CD player and rear deck speakers and installed a defogger. I'd like to put some better front seats in, but can't seem to decide which make/model to get them from. I rented a Buick Lucerne when I was in the States in January and thought those front seats would be nice in the Charger. I'll have to have someone keep an eye out for me for a wrecked Lucerne.

Has anyone added aftermarket racing seats? I need some real comfortable seats. I have scoliosis so the stock seats kill me.

Has anyone added aftermarket racing seats? I need some real comfortable seats. I have scoliosis so the stock seats kill me. Actually most racing seats are a large step in the wrong direction for comfort. Lateral support is the goal for roadracing & who needs comfort in a 15 sec car on the drag strip?! Recaro.com might have the answer you seek as would several advertisers in Road&Track magazene or Car Craft or even Motor Trend. Short of $10,000 seats custom made for specific F1 drivers: we're gonna hurt when we get out of the car under really fun conditions I'm not familiar with the needs of a driver that is affected by scoliosis. Is your need spine stretch or neck stretch or just stability? If you can handle spinal compression at the start of a dragrace & spinal twist/lean on a roadcourse then sure racing seats give the support you desire. If you also need a bit of shock proofing ....there isn't anything for us regular guys n gals.

i sat in some recaro seats. i was messing with the mitsubishi dealer. ( i was a little bored) the seats in the lancer were perfect! the only time i ever felt this comfortable is when i lay down on my bed or when i hang upside down.
they are pricey, but i think ill end up getting them.
or maybe surgery is in my future? spinal decompression therapy?

I consider the stock buckets very comfortable... shame backs are not adjustable
