Another Green 72 Topper with the funky Mock Turtle 1/2 vinyl top. Very solid 318/bench/column shift auto car minus engine and trans. A friend of mine called me asking if I was interested. We negotiated a deal that he could take off a bunch of parts (to sell) and basically sell me the straight, rolling, virtually rust free shell with glass, doors, fenders, and rear bumper for $700 delivered to my doorstep. I should have it either Friday or Saturday. Incredibly.... my wife not only agreed to my getting it, but is paying for it! I will of course post up some pics once I get it.

Awesome. What are you doing with it, parts? No, I definitely am not buying it for parts. I just wanted the solid shell as a starting point for another project. I have plenty of parts already on hand to do another 72 Rallye clone like the one my son and I are working on now. Since the one I am working on now is 318/auto/console, I am thinking the next one will have to be BB 4 speed, buckets with 6 way manual drivers track, no console and a buddy seat. The only things I don`t have to do that is the BB bell housing and the non console shift rods. As far as engines go, I`ve been looking at 400 stroker kits as well as 440 crate motors that YR1 sells.

Here is a peek at some remnants of a 72 Mock turtle top for those who have never seen one before. Unfortunately that car needed both full 1/4`s, a trunk, and tail panel work, so I did cut it up for parts.

OMG I actually have parts you dont have! I do have the pistol grip and dog bone, just no shifter rods. Maybe a bench seat for you....... but no flat hood. It has a power bulge on it right now and that is one of the items that my friend is going to keep and sell.
