Hello I am a new member (today) and a friend suggested that I post my question on this site to try to get a little help. I purchased a new "electric choke control" to install on my 1981 Dodge D250, 360, 5.9L 4brl Carter Quad. When I recently replaced the original ignition coil I noticed that the electric choke control was missing the wires to the terminals. The new choke control is identicle to the original and is Mopar. I would like to install this new control when I rebuild the carburetor but I have no idea where the wires connect to. One terminal on the control says "BAT". Does anyone have any pictures of a similar vehicle where that would show me how to correctly connect the wires. Thank you. www.ebay.com/itm/390384227318?www.ebay.com/itm/390384227318?item=390384227318&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:X:AAQ:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr

My '74 440 has #3755750. Red plug goes to choke(red arrows). Brown plug has 2 black wires and is part of harness that goes to coil and alt(green arrows).

Thank you Mehws. Pictures are great. So the two brown wires from the choke control go to the negative and pos. terminals of the coil, one on each terminal? The red wire I figured has to go to the choke on the carb, but my setup is not like yours in the picture. Mine is an 81' so I'm not surprised. I'll have to look more closely for a terminal on or near the choke on the carb. Thank you for the help ,I feel I'm getting closer to getting this connected properly.

When the 2 wires leave the choke control, they join into the harness, which is taped, so I really don't know where they go for sure. According to the service manual below, 1 does go to the alternator. The other appears to be joined with other wires in the harness and goes to the ecu, the ballast resistor and voltage regulator. Hopefully, someone else will chime in.
