you can get completelly down the window removing the lower rubber bumper located on bottom of the door. take care of the way you remove it then will get acces to the trim screws removing the glass weatherstrip. Trim does have also a regular phillips screw at the very front end That's it . I forgot I did that. Good going Nacho #DancingBanana#

Do you know what the color of the wire is? Should I use a feed from the battery with a 20 amp fuse in line or just go straight from the battery? why worry about ? if you are feeding directly the motor just have two wires. feed in one way, if doesn't go down, then reverse the wires polarity. They don't have positive or negative source in strictly words. Door panel switch makes that internally, switching polarity to go up or down. Fuse is a good idea

I guess I'm more adventurous (or ignorant or foolhardy...or a combination of all 3)... Anyway, I just hooked the ground lead of a battery charger to the car, unplugged the master button switches from the terminal block behind them, and then stuck a nail in the positive lead of the charger and "started stabbing" holes... After a couple of sparks and a lot of nothings, I finally found the up and down terminals for each window... Of course I probably fried the entire electrical system, BUT HEY, IT WORKED!! I am NOT recommending that ANYONE try this method...it is just one in a long line of stupid things I've done and survived to talk about!!

Switches commutes the power between + and - by themself, so YOU NEED TO KNOW in that case which lead gets what prong.. Feed the motor is the safer way, since you are the one who is switching the leads, no need to know which one is.

Lost my nerve to do it today. Will build my courage tomorrow. I need to get that chrome off soon. Want to get an estimate this next week or so to get it painted and I need that chrome off.

Ok, almost a month later and I finally got to it. Thank you Nacho for the tip. Worked great. Even decided to change out my door hinges since I had the window down. Right side done today. Left side to do on Saturday.

Yes, that's for sure. Almost have the car ready for the body shop as a result of getting the windows down.
