I did know that, just had to vent out!
the worst part is the GRAIN pattern is quite closer to the original, more than Palco, just bigger and too much curved out. If we use a sand paper to mill it out or flatten it out a little bit, mosty sure will look more less nice and even better than Palco. BUT THE grooves, and seams simulation are practically unexistant. This is where Palco MORE LESS beat them out.
about some other parts of panels.
Palco have the holes ready for install, but INCORRECT seats for the bucket hinges screw locations. BUT ACCUFORM DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE SCREW HOLES... Of course neither the Ashtray cut outs.
I'll try to take pics soon and post all the bads of each panel.
Lower doors are not bought yet, after the scam I got, I was searching for the cheaper source on each panel, and finally got Classic Industries have the best price. They confirmed manufacturer is Palco.
The rear lowers had to be Accuform because is THE ONLY manufacturer making the "correct" 74 piece with seatbet panel. I had to buy them throught legendary, and got it at home last week.
Our only hope is THIS seller convince to manufacturer make our panels, and not just buckets panels ( because they are the same than E bodies ).
www.ebay.com/itm/1971-72-73-74-Mopar-B-Body-Seat-Backs-Charger-GTX-Roadrunner-Satellite-Coronet-/221154430315?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item337dd4cd6b
And rightly priced. These at least are priced more less the same than Palco and Accuform, but WAAAAY BETTER made
I messaged them taking about this. Told them that If I'm going to get their panels is because I'm going to match all my interior changing them as a full set, but since Palco is the only manufacturer selling more less the full set, we have to die with them. They replied me back will try to work out with manufacturer about that.
Tom already posted about these panels in the past... they REALLY look JUST LIKE originas at least on pics.
