(I'm sure the 73's and 74's are identical....I'll confirm that with Nacho, though.) pretty sure they are the same but IF SOME DIFF could it be just on vinyl pattern used. I know seat covers were diff on that between 72/73 and 74 but not sure about door panels. Down here in Venezuela they look to be diff between regular ( not brougham available down here ) panels on 73 and 74, BUT they were made locally, licensed by Chrysler, so I can't tell if that is a fact also up there

Legendary will be happy to send out your old SE panel to be remade. But try $750 for the front and rear top panels only and a One year wait. No I didn;t say Year one. I said its a 1 year waiting time, no I don't know who does the work and have never seen a pair yet. All the after market plastic sucks .

A whole YEAR..... not me I can do a lot with $750.00 on my car other than just having the top door panels done. The door pulls that Jer had look real good, haven't heard of SEMS before looks like a good product from what I can see. I will most likely re-dye my uppers white and save the rest of the cash, the upper panels are only discolored but very salvageable compared to $750.00. What I REALLY want are good condition lower door panels front and rear also both kick panels and seat backs to dye white.I will get a little at a time doors first etc. etc. It's just a shame that all the plastic for the third Gen. Chargers is such crap. These cars are becoming more popular and valued every day #RockOn# , let's all keep our fingers crossed that someone, will step up to the line and make some QUALITY interior plastic parts. ;D What other vinyl dye products are good products to use, do a good job and wear well?

There's numerous plastic/vinyl color products and systems available, including Color-Kote, Dupli-Color, Eastwood, etc.
I only started using SEMS because after reading as much as I could on forums, in magazines, etc., it seemed to me to have the best "rep" as far as looks, longevity, ease of application, color availability, etc.
I'm happy with it so far, but then, I don't really have the "longevity" issue to brag on yet, do I?
Time will tell, but I am really pleased with all of the other facets of SEMS and its application.

The color on those door pulls looks great. If ya don't mind me asking Jer what vendor can you get the SEMS from? Don't remember seeing it at my local auto zone or advance auto parts. If they have white I'll try it out! However forgot all about Eastwood. All I want is a great product that delivers quality results. It's nice to know that someone has used it with great results, if it would wear 3yrs. and look nice then COOL. I can always do it again. #DriveBurnout# Are there any differences in the lower plastic panels from say a regular 1974 charger compared to a 1974 SE brougham. How about any other year lower door panels. What would be a good ball park price to buy GOOD used ones for? #Thinking# #Thinking# #Thinking#
Just trying to get things lined out and make my next plan of attack to get more done on my car. ;D

The color on those door pulls looks great. I think so, but I'm also hoping they fade just a little with time and heat...otherwise I'll have to do the panels to match the pulls!! If ya don't mind me asking Jer what vendor can you get the SEMS from? www.levineautoparts.com/semvinandpla.html?gclid=CP3R6JOz7Y8CFQg1WAodREgpMg(free shipping over 200 bucks), and I also get all of my prep and clear coat for the process from them as well. Don't remember seeing it at my local auto zone or advance auto parts. Me either, but they do carry it at most good auto paint specialty stores, in my case that's 14 miles across town, one way, so with free shipping I end up money ahead than driving over to the "east side." If they have white I'll try it out! They have every color you could ever want. All I want is a great product that delivers quality results. Needless to say, I'm very, very pleased with the product. It's nice to know that someone has used it with great results, if it would wear 3yrs. and look nice then COOL. I can always do it again. That's my philosophy exactly!! Are there any differences in the lower plastic panels from say a regular 1974 charger compared to a 1974 SE brougham. How about any other year lower door panels. All I can tell you is about 72's (Nacho is the 73/74 expert!): That I have found, the only difference is whether it has the hole for the window crank or the rectangular/square hole for the power window switch assembly: A 73 WITH CORRECT DOOR PULLSA 72 (?) WITH "HELP" AFTERMARKET $8.00 DOOR PULLSAND, FROM MY BLUE 72:NOTE: I have never heard of it since, but I know for a fact that my first 72 SE Brougham--I bought it new in January of 73--did have the lower panels carpeted black from the factory...whether this is a one time deal or what, I don't know, but I personally have never seen it on another car....anyone else? (I'm going to carpet the lower panels in my black SE.....just because!) What would be a good ball park price to buy GOOD used ones for? #Thinking# #Thinking# #Thinking# If you find the color you want, in the CONDITION you want, I personally would not have a problem paying 150 to 200 dollars(or more) for a set that I really really wanted...but that's just me...you said it yourself: The current crop of repro's--to my knowledge--leaves something to be desired, and it all depends on 3 things: How bad you want them? How much money you have? How bad will your wife hurt you for spending said money!! ;D Just trying to get things lined out and make my next plan of attack to get more done on my car. ;D Just like the rest of us Nuts!! Hope this helped a little....because I'm about to hijack your thread for a minute or two!!

Jer, those are some fine looking panels you got there....LOL I like the dining room table too, is that also for sale? Hey how ya been? Dan outta here Yeah, Dan, they are great panels....some guy in Florida sold them to me over my cell phone, while I was parked in a Walgreens parking lot in Amarillo, Texas last year!! Can you believe that? He supposedly was going to ship the dining room table with them, but I guess it got lost in transit? So...Dan....is the table still in Florida, or did it move to North Carolina as well? ;D ;D Good to hear from you...stop by the site more often and let me know where you are (PM)....might be we can stop by and see you if you're still in NC. Jer.

Hey Jer which is the correct surface prep? There are two kinds of SEM Plastic/Leather Prep 38354 and 38353. They both seem to have the same cleaning and prep qualities. which did you use? From the link you gave all the SEMS products are there. Did you use the clear coat for added protection? I'm also going to look here at paint suppliers to find it local. The price of 200.00 for door panels sounds about what I thought or at least hoped it would be around. My wife THANK GOD supports my habit concerning cars. I told her before we got married " I don't have VERY MANY vices I just NEED a place to park the ones I do have " Thankfully she supports our hobby 100% she used to salvaging with me before she had 2 disks fused in her back. No I don't mind you hi-jacking the thread for a bit especially when it's to an old friend. #2Thumbs# Because old friends are good for the soul #2Thumbs# ;D
