Some good points there. I'm looking for a good paint job for a 1,000 mile a year car with maybe a couple local shows and a couple cruise nights a year.

Personally, I wouldn't do a high end paint job on something like that - a couple shows and cruise nights annual probably doesn't make sense (IMO) to even do the jambs unless they need it really bad, or you are changing colors.
My wife and kids saw a sub-lime Cuda over the weekend and want me to change from white to sub-lime... damn.

I was given a quote for a paint job on my '72 from a fellow club member. He has a reputaion for putting out some awesome paint jobs (including one he did on an original '69 Charger 500 w/Hemi & 4 speed). Simply stunning work.
The job he quoted was for media blasting the entire body, straighten/block all panels and repaint (minimal body work needed). He would have gotten the car without trim and bumpers.
$5000

My $4,000.00 hopes went to crap with today's $7,300.00 estimate. Must be all the panel replacement that is needed.
