Welcum i tink.
The most common 72 SE is a vinyl & cloth bench seat with folddown center armrest & column shift automatic.
Is your car a 3sp manual with column shift?
Lotsa help here on the site. Hope you find what you're lookin for.

WOW!! First of all welcome aboard, if I haven't already told you that? Man, talk about a "cover all the bases" post!! I was going to move it to Introductions, then General Charger (for the question part), then Engines/Trannies (for the 3 on the tree aspect), then Interior for the dash part. But since the main thing you seem to be after is a pic or wiring diagram of the dash, I suppose maybe here in Electrical is where it belongs after all!! ;D (Posts like this make it hard to be a "Heavy Handed Moderator" as our esteemed Member Mr. Doright would say!!) "Crazy", in answer to your Main question, there is a thread or two somewhere around here that specifically addresses dash removal, installation, and wiring....I'll try to locate it for you. Meanwhile, I have to ask the same thing Brock asked you: Just to clarify, your car has a 3 speed MANUAL transmission (with a clutch and everything), AND it is shifted on the column? The reason I ask is that we had a thread running for awhile where it turned out the owner was talking about a 3 Speed AUTOMATIC transmission with a column shifter (P-R-N-D-2-1). If you do indeed have a TRUE "3 on the tree" manual transmission, then I'll have to join the ranks of those that have never heard of that on a 3rd Gen Charger!! Again, welcome to the forum, Jer.

Anyway, I'll give it my best decoding shot a little later today, if somebody else doesn't decode it first. Meanwhile, about the pics....it worked out best for me to just "open" an account at Photobucket.com....uploading from your computer then downloading to this site was pretty basic, even for me, the original dinosaur. In the interim, if you want to post up some pics in Member's Chargers or whatever, you're always welcome to email them to me at jlb1pi@yahoo.com....then all you have to do is start the post and I can insert them in for you. That is if you don't want to take the time or wait for the Photobucket experience. It's your call, I'd be more than happy to do it for you (as a matter of fact, that's what Pete, the site owner, did for me back when I was naive, ignorant, and computer illiterate.) Now I'm just plain ol' ignorant!!
