Has anyone installed a 73 fuel tank in there 74?

physically will fit, no problem... now the vent/vapor lines are diff, dunno what exactly need to do with that.
You could build a hidden compartiment down the trunk floor hump, LOL

You could build a hidden compartiment down the trunk floor hump, (Laughing Out Loud) Ive seen digrams of both tanks from the inside. It's all about venting. One blog read that a vented gas cap will allow you to use a 73 tank in a 74 but just plug all the vent nipples on the tank.

74 tank on the left and the 73 on right. Gary said I can tie in the 4 nipples and connect to the existing hose to the canister.

Ahh...the lump in one, and not the other. Would you believe that Chrysler would repeat this pattern later? Some late B's have them, some don't. Weird.
