Can somebody give me a measurement between the shock towers or frame on a '71 (or a '72 I'm guessing since they're supposed to be about the same). Say the distance between the inside edge of the upper control arm bolts (yellow arrows in the pic) or the inside flange on the frame rail (green arrows). I have a pretty good lean in (neg. camber if I remember my schooling) on the drivers side and I'm trying to figure out why. Can't see any obvious twist in the frame rail. Not planning on fixing it at this point but want to know where the problem lies. I have also seen reference to some offset control arm bolts to extend the upper control arm out. Anybody know anything about these and where to get them. I will search the web for them when I get some extra time.

Now see, your car looks more blue in that evening light!
I'll have to take a look in the body manual and see if they tell you what A & B are. it looks like it's a line extending from the torsion bars (front springs). That doesn't help me. I need a measurement higher up like what I showed or between the shock studs. I've recorded a few measurements in case I can ever find someone with their engine removed. I think my car has been bottomed out. There are scrapes and gouges on the bottom of the k member, the front valance has been pushed up a bit and the drivers side frame rail has a bulge in the bottom of it in the area where the pin holes from rust are.

It has identity issues.....Is there a support group for this?? Mine shows hard use too, someone must have been a big fan of the Dukes and tried there own jumps. Kids don't try this at home!
