I have a 71 super bee with the original 340 and thermoquad carb. i have the standard super bee hood. i want to install the edelbrock rpm air gap manifold and use my carter thermoquad carburetor. does anyone know if there will be enough hood clearance to use this combination? thanks Rocky

You should have plenty of room...especially with the bulge hood.

I have a low deck 400 under my hood with an Indy single plane manifold and a low base air cleaner. It fits under a stock SuperBee hood. Cannot see an issue with a 340. Good luck.
