I am looking for new rubber for my 73 Charger. UK choices are limited and more expensive than in the USA. I HAVE 15x7J turbine ally's and want to fit 215/60/15 Front & 255/60/15 Rears. BF Goodrich

Thanks I have put T/As on EVERY car I have ever built........I love them, some don't like them at all........I used to love the Hoosier Radial G/Ts when they were made........but run what ever suits you...you can not let others choose for your taste ....google them all to get reviews......If your going to burn your tires off then go with a more cheaper option .. Good luck on your decision!

I guess the issue is he lives in the UK, so shipping would be huge....and has limited availability to certain tires... But T/A is a great choice!

I'll try discount tires, however, after p&p and import duties I don't think I'll be much better off. T/A's would be my first choice but I can't justify the price in UK. Has anyone had experience of Grabbers or Hercules?

[/quote) I have used Hercules tires, they are ok..had them on a couple cars I bought...I just don't like the writing on them on a muscle car if u like white letters out...but they are a good choice for money

This is just my 1.9 cents but looks aside I would rate the TA,s as the worst wearing of the 3. The Hercules tires are going to have a stiff sidewall so ride will not be as good and the Grabbers are notoriously noisy. I'm sure you know how to compare the ratings on the tire sidewall as far as A,B.C,etc and the number for the wear rating is there also. One thing to keep in mind is that the TA's now have different lettering so if you mix sizes make sure you get all old stock or all new stock. A friend got a bonus in a set of new ones but 2 came in with different letters and he won't put them on because they are different. Coker has the mold for the old design if you want the old style. Not sure on price. I would step your front size up to a 225/60. It will fit but wider. The deciding point for me would be; if I walk away from my car in the parking lot and turn to get that last look at her beauty is my first thought going to be, "I hate those tires". I can get hung up on points like that so I bite the bullet and do whatever it takes to make me happy.Consider yourself lucky if you don't have that issue. BTW I love my TA's.
