Hey, i want to remove the A/C unit on my 318 because i think it takes up too much space for a part that doesn't work, would anyone know of a pulley kit, or perhaps just the length of a new belt to make this work?
thanks, Doug

My FIRST suggestion would be to get the system working. But my second would only be to try to look up parts for a non-A/C car.

Years back I wanted t do the same thing to my 400 but after trying to find the correct brackets and pully's I gave up. I'm glad I left on though since I did having it blow cold air one time.

My AC is missing the line from the evaporator canister to the firewall. I doubt im going to even bother getting it working again but im still looking for the part.
I thought about taking mine out also. I decided that its better for an AC car to have everything intact than not. Better for resale. Sent from my SM-G920P using proboards

Go to a radiator shop and have them make a new one
unless you have a high value pedigree car who cares what it looks like
Enjoy the cool

Go to a hydraulic hose manufacture and they can make one relatively close.
