I didn't even know that my car was missing this piece until I saw a new one listed on eBay this morning. Possibly being made by a member on this site??? Item #300243649551 It looks like a well made part, but it's pretty high priced for my budget. Does anyone know of other suppliers for this reproduction part?

those are just to 73/74 and fills the gap on these models what needed to enlarge the bumper gap with body to meet with collisions regulations, so we are the only ones what suffer that headache... not OFFICIAL repro parts of them. They are 3 pieces on each bumper

Ok Nacho I have a question about that. Why is it that a 71/72 only has a small gap without those rubber fillers and the 73/74 even after tucking in the front bumper still has a larger gap?

eeeehm... I'm not getting the question The 71 and 72's front bumper/hood/fender gap is very small (no rubber filler) and looks good. The 73 and 74 have a larger gap because of the rubber filler. While you can remove the rubber fillers and move the bumper in, it still seems like the gap is larger than the 71 and 72. Why? Or is it just my imagination.

as far you enlarge the frame rail brackets and get the bumper closer to the body... SHOULD looks the same. I don't know, never tried and I hope never will have to do. I have seen them very well fit like on earliers on web pics

The piece from my original post is one that fits on the top of the bumper and is 51" long. It doesn't sound like the one that you guys are talking about.

This part, ebay item number 300243649551, is actually for 73-74 Chargers only. Even the bumper it is shown on is a 73-74 part.
