Out of hundreds of pics I have this is the only one with both. Sorry for the quality but it is pic of pic. We need a place to keep that measurement pic. More cars are going manual all the time. Car also came with extra keys to hang on the mirror. Do you know if that's a 71 or 72? 74 as far as I know or I wouldn't have it. You can see the bend in the clutch pedal and it is wide. 73-74 set up with big pads.

the cluster says is not a 74 ( not icons on switches ) and not a 72 ( even less a 71 ) due the vertical fan speed lever on AC control, so its a 73

Looks as if the fan switch is above, horizontal on my pic. I still say 72

I see a vertical lever... what seems to be something horizontal is something like a scratch or peeled off front face ? don't know
Or something like the "Stratovent" option ? but I still see the vertical lever on left side

Well, I can do this all day, L-O-L! Clearly looks like a horizontal lever to me. And the slide controls are too close to be 73-4.

Charger with the beige interior appears to be a Strato-Vent car so the fan control would be a horizontal switch. Upper level ventilation (Strato-Vent) was available 71-74. Green interior car is AC with four speed, unusual because AC wasn't available in 71 on a Hemi or 440+6 or a four speed trans in 440+4 or in cars with the Ramcharger hood. Would be a 383 or small block. Don't recall if same restrictions applied in 72.

As far as I know, all dash reverse lights were in the same location. There was also a seat belt light that was mounted in the same spot on some models. But I've never seen a car with both a dash mounted reverse light AND a dash mounted seat belt light. In any case, here's some reference measurements from a 1971 model. Thank you for posting this. I'm finally getting to this project. Today is the day I cut the car. Once I get it all assembled I'll start a thread on the swap.

Remember, measure twice, cut once.

After laying out these measurements on my dash I'm not sure that they are correct for a 3rd gen B-Body. It is much higher and further to the left than what I have seen in the past. I'm thinking this might be the measurements for a '70 E-Body. The area between the ash try and the glove box is narrower on the E-body than on the B-body.
