I'm making a check list to line out all the things I need to do to get the Charger going again. One of the things I need to do is flush out the tank. It has been sitting for 3 years and probably has sat quite a bit over the last 40 years so it needs to be done. We actually have a ol' fashioned radiator repair shop with the ability to "boil out" a tank but I wondered if it has a baffle inside or is it open where it can dry out inside? Never had one off of this new of a car.

I had mine done at an old rad shop and they also lined it. That was 14 years ago and no issues.

Good to hear. Don't think I need to line it but I have been amazed at how much crud can be in a old tank and feel I need to get it cleaned.

And the modern ethanol gas does not take long to cause a real mess, when a car sits up.
