Hi Guys, I Finally have my 73 back on the road after a long and slow six year restoration. What I have discovered is how much I missed driving this car and what I also discovered is how much I royally screwed up on my rear leaf spring choice. This thing rides like the preverbal lumber truck. I went with HD springs in the rear and they are horrible. Any suggestions for a quality replacement? I've heard about Espo springs. Are there any others worth considering and has anyone used the Caltract setup? Thanks, Scott

I want the 2 1/2 inch lift. Probably gonna go with what the shop recommends. They've done many classics and I was referred to them by some of the guys in our club.

I use caltracs but mine isnt driven on the road enough for me to judge. But best I can tell it rides really well. Definitely hooks on the drag strip. The caltracs guys are really knowledgeable and helpful, they helped me correct my pinion angle disaster I had running super stock springs. I also like the fact they are 2 peice, so they are tunable. I also use their adjustable shocks. Another plus if you use the springs and traction bars no snubber is used. I bought everything they had to fit a 73 b body. Their front shocks however do not fit 73 and up.
