Nacho, Which color wire on the fire wall was the one I had to continually wiggle to get the charging system going. I'm tired of wiggling. Thanks

the blue wire on engine harness is the one that feeds everything on engine, from ballast to alt brush, and regulator.
then the green wire between regulator and the other alt brush is the one that completes the other pole field but regulated to get the magnetic field inside the alt, and then the output on alt.
Then the heavy gauge black wire on engine harness is the one that runs up to ammeter, and becomes on red wire up to starter relay on headlights harness ( with the fuse link in the middle )
if you don't get 12 volts or so between green and blue wires at alt brushes ( with key in RUN ), you won't have output from alt. Need input to creat magnetic field and get output.

I think everything is working fine but just not a good connection at the engine firewall. So I assume it's the heavy black one?

it could be that the alt power output is going to NOWHERE... if doesn't pass throught the bulkhead then won't charge anything even if alt is charging.
Probably you already got the main Mopar fail of all... burnt terminal there on black wire

That's right. I have nothing charging until I jiggle. Should not be that bad to remove the firewall connector and take a look. Thanks Nacho.
