Well I thought i had found a new addition to the fleet. Loaded up big truck and trailer and headed out to give it a look. On the phone sounded promising, 72SE 400 4bl(P code) disks sway bars 8 3/4 the works triple white with gold pin stripe. Arrived to find both quarters gone from the SE insert on down. Front end damage, but the hideaways still worked and were undamaged. 71 383 under the hood, 70 727 tranny (no matching them numbers) no console or shifter. Could be had for just under $1000. motor suppose to run and where it was at he had to of driven it up there. Don't really need the parts but what would you guys do? mike

what would you guys do? mike I would still get it. From a parts perspective it is still easily worth it. The parts value of just the hideaways, front sway bar and LCA`s, rear end, rear sway bar, and disc brakes alone is in excess of a $1000.

Ask for 800 and get it. I could use the hideaway setup if you don't want it...

Sounds like a cool color combo...triple white with gold stripe. Too bad it can't be saved. Quarters rusted up to the SE emblems?

Yep quarters and trunk extensions are gone. This thing even had leather interior! Guess I will let this guy stew another week and then offer away.

At this point in time, nobody cares if a 318, or a 400 car is parted out. That's what I would do.
