Need help wiring a 383 into a 72 charger it had a ford 390 and your dead wrong who ever did that but yeah need sum help don't know where to start the 390 was points ing I'm swap to etc what r my first steps

Yep, you may need an engine harness, a backup/neutral safety harness and a forward light harness. Much easier than trying to wire yourself.

Thanks 4 the quick replies it' doesn't look like they hack it up to much it had a ford solenoid on fire wall and everything else looks intact the Harnesses looks good got the ecu and distributor was trying to wire it up with electric ignition close to factory for now intill my coins get right

pics are not uploading... and that will be helpfull to help you
theorically you will need to feed the ballast in RUN ( blue wire ) and START ( brown wire ). This will splice the power to coil and Ign module. Ballast can be hotwired straight from batt in case of emergency though, or even to the + lead of coil ( not for long time to keep coil safe ). For the starter relay NSS source, you can also ground up to chassis the G terminal. If yellow wire to I terminal is not there or is not working, you can jump with a screwdriver or wrench between the big stud and SOL terminal.

Hey nacho Man U have been so helpful to me and you just don't know it I've read so many post by u that have been dead on the spot so thanks a lot my pics will not load been tryin all day I'm trace all my wires and take pics so the forum can get a better ideal how do I load them or can I send them elsewhere
