My tail light bezels (housing what ever) needs a little touch up chrome wise. The part is plastic, and from what i can tell hard to find and if you did would cost a arm and other various body parts. Has anyone tried to rechrome plastic parts on their car and if so what success have you had? I have seen a spray on chrome system on line but know nothing first hand about it. If this worked well i could see me using it on several other parts.

That is amazing! Ill go on line to see where to get and how much it cost. Looks like a good easy product to use. Thanks for that!

IMHO, $200 for the trim on a tail lamp or gauge cluster is not cost effective.

Well, I guess it depends on how many applications you can get out of a can.
I know old Mr. G's plastic chrome work is NOT cheap.

if you think will be able to rechrome all the cluster edges, passenger side insert, T handle button and trim, SE grilles and whatever else.... maybe worths the price.
Wondering about durability over the friction. Repro T handles button and trim didn't last long a S**T on a driver car ( BTDT )

Truth is there are only two very small places that need touched up. I saw where there is some chrome finger nail polish out there and it might do just what i need. But I’m still going to look into bigger application products. Wonder why you don’t see tail light housings for sale or in reproduction anywhere, at least I haven’t?
