Could someone tell me if the gauge voltage limiter from a '68 Charger will work in the 3rd generation gauges?

Not really. The 68 - 70 Charger uses a circuit board while the 71 - 74 uses wires to connect everything. The early limiter plugs in while the late limiter screws onto the panel.

works the same but uses diff attaching and prongs... if you will be able to change internals from one to another, will work. By internals I mean JUST SPECIFICALLY INTERNALS non including the baquelite and prongs.
IS THE SAME on standart cluster however... diff is with 3rd gen rallye clusters only

Thanks for the info guys. I had bought it as a spare for my '68 Charger, and I wanted to see if I should keep it as a spare for my '71. Now I see that I can sell it to someone who can actually use it....Brian

My turn:
Will the 68 VL work on a 66 electroluminescent gauge cluster?....

I have no idea Jer - but If it doesn't: I'll buy it from you as a spare for my 70!
