The car is a 74 Charger and the transmission is a 727. I kind of jimmy rigged a bracket to get by because it didn’t have one when I got it, and the shifting is a bit iffy. I believe the linkage is for a 904, it is a straight bar. I can find the 727 linkage online but the transmission doesn’t have the bolt hole on the side for the linkage bracket. Any help on figuring this out would be awesome. It won’t allow me to add photos, it says the forum has used up the attachment limit.

If you access this forum through the free Tapatalk app, it takes pictures right from your phone's gallery or you can take a new snapshot. The app does have adds but you simply scroll passed them.

I saw your car on facebook and I'm not sure you can run column shift linkage with headers. You might have to get an aftermarket cable shifter or convert to a slapstick setup.

I went from a 318 / 904 on the collum to a 340 / 727 console with a slapstik. I got the linkage from another charger for the slapstik but reused the kickdown rod which I had to lengthen about an inch and the throttle bracket which also had to be modified to sit about 2” higher to work with the thermoquad. It all works but I often consider hunting down the factory parts. Good luck with that right?
