Hey Bob, what's that strange misshapen piece of red plastic in your garage?

Please don't paint it black..that's just wrong. Just strip as much as you can and paint wherever you can. You don't have to pull the engine.

Looks like it's coming along nicely. I especially like the before/after of the left side!!

I was off Friday so here is the update. Yesterday, finally finished it up. The only problem I ran into was the seat belt interlock wiring. The harness I installed (thanks Tom) was a non-interlock harness. After looking at my old one and thinking a bit I figured out how to remove wires from the bulkhead connector and wire in the interlock. I had to do that so it would start. I soaked the overflow and washer bottles in bleach for days and they came out great. I can't believe the difference in charging and running since installing. The old harness was butchered beyond repair. It fired right up. My camera took a dump so I'll have to get pics later. The A/C was wired different also so had to rewire that also. Everything works great. The blower motor even runs faster. Hey Tom, I was able to replace that broken tab with one on my old harness with no problem. Bob

Update: Last evening after completing my Honey-Do-List I turned in my front grills to the paint shop. Base coat, clear coat, argent color. Friday they will be ready. That will make my investment so far around $150 bucks.
