Are you changing your name to Fireblazer? ~Jer~ I'm not kidding when I say that I have had that exact thought in my head.

Nice K5! I have one as well but mine is a 79. 350 4 speed 4x4. Nice! It sure doesn't look like a rust bucket, therefore it is cool. The red blazer in the pic above this is the one I had in Colorado. I went off-roading in the mountains in the snow one time and it took a good 3' of snow to bring that thing to a halt! I dug it out with my ice scraper.... AAhh!! but then again, you haven't seen the floor boards in that either.

Like you weren't going to buy it... LOL, you're probably right. I honestly didn't go down there expecting to buy much, especially not for the Charger. As I mentioned, it's at least number 2, maybe #3 in line for restoration, so it's a little early to be collecting parts. And also, the car needs MANY things, and I don't have a list of what they all are. But, I know there are only a finite number of that air cleaner out there, this one was in good shape (there were actually a couple of others there, but with the trap door and vac. motor missing, and one with some pretty bad rust problems), and it just seemed like a good opportunity. Plus it is one of the parts I know I need for the car if I go back to original. And, in all honesty, coming to this site every day has me a little more excited about getting to this project.
