In Paul Herd's Interchange Manual (68-74) the part number for the 70 and 71 Charger "Wheel Type: Simulated Wood Rim" is the same, 4016DDT.Jer. Paul Herd doesn't know his a$$ from his elbow. This would be a good time of year to start a nice bonfire with that book. I counted TWENTY WRONG part descriptions before burning my copy, and I wasn't even halfway through it. I might as well have burned a 20 spot. Not sure about S81 wheels on 71's, but the one in Jer's first posts was never on a 71 B-body. I will check my parts books and see what I can see. Jer's Hamtramk info looks like a winner. Someone just has a strange idea of "padded" center. Maybe it was padded originally, then became too expensive to mass produce (and the dealer info never got updated). I'm betting that S81 is the "standard" 3-spoke wheel with the three horn buttons and plastic center. Do you have S62 on your sheet also?? Steve

I will drink to that! #A_Toast# #A_Toast# #A_Toast# I have been trying to get Jer to stop referencing that book awhile now.

I'm pretty sure this is the S81 No padding except on the horn buttons. Steve
