After installing my dash and going through some interior parts, I came across this wire. I thought I had marked every wire. Looks like a ground wire. It's about 6 inches long. Part number is 2857741, then A96555. Thanks for any help. Terry

I do but it simply will not download on this site. Every time I try to download a photo to this site, it will not allow it and they are only about 143kb. It states: some data will not parsed. Refresh and try again. Terry

Looks like the strap that goes under the steering column. Parts book calls it a horn ground cable. section 8-33-114

Odzking, I believe you're correct. I did unbolt the steering column to remove the dash and didn't install a ground. Thank you all for the help. Terry

Looked at mine in the garage yesterday as well. Same wire. That is what it is.

Yup I have the same ground wire .
If you access this site through a free app called (Taptalk) it is extremely simple to post pictures.
