Yeh....read this yesterday. Just a matter of time. Also, our wonderful mental midgets in D.C. are trying to pass 2 tax bills for Internet Sales Tax of all items. I think this will also come to fruition because of the revenue it could generate and of course why not.......everything else gets taxed.

$5 isn't bad for a listing if they let you keep it up for a while. Maybe they'll use the $$$ to upgrade the platform..... Hope so. Internet sales tax...... sounds easier than implemented. My professional IT specialty is Multi-company, Multi-currency, International Billing and Financial Management Systems. The US is most easiest of all, with only Federal, State, and sometimes two levels of Local (Sales) Taxes to calculate. Sure the eBays, Amazons, Etsys, etc. can afford to have the systems developed, installed and supported. But that will then lay rise to even more "off the grid / black market" sales sites. Small to medium Mom & Pops who currently support internet sales from their own websites, counting on the non-taxed sales boost will/can lose those sales. And small business still is the backbone of our local and NATIONAL economy. Again, way easier said then done if you understand the ramifications. Now, off my soap box and back to cars!

If it helps prevent a few scammers, the the modest $5 listing fee is worth it. Especially if you can re-list for free until it sells (don't know that you can).

Craig's List is a lot less cluttered these days! Just looks like quality cars and parts. Well worth the $5 placement as more people should look here now.
