The installation has begun. The sail panels got insulation the other day and today after an early BBQ the roof insulation went in. Tomorrow the headliner!

So the headliner is in, stretched and clipped in place. Fun work on a 89* day with a halogen light inside. Had 2 fans keeping me cool along with plenty of water.
Word of warning: This brand of headliner has the sections/bows too far apart resulting in each bow, starting with #5, working forward leans further forward. I discovered this while trying to get the wrinkles out. Measured against the old one and confirmed. Too late to complain as I has already made some relief cuts. I sure will leave a negative review on this product. Sure wouldn't have wanted to wait another week or more to get another one. It looks like the end result will be ok. Might have a little bit of waving or small wrinkles. There was no guarantee that wouldn't have happened anyway with a correct one. I'll let it sit till late Sat or Sun and see what it looks like.

Sorry to hear about the manufacturing error. Hopefully enough front-to-back swivel in those steel bows that you can hide that. Certainly something to keep in mind if I buy another new one in the future.

I don't know what one would do. Call all the sellers and ask them to measure the sections and compare it to your original? How many manufacturer's of repro's are there? I'm wondering even if the $325 one would be made correctly. After all I was told it was OEM material not an OEM manufacturer. I sure would have been p.o.ed if I paid that much.

Just one more decision I will have to make some day. I have a c1990 repro, but IIRC, you could not get the '72 pattern at that time. So it's for a '71. Personally, I couldn't tell you one from another unless someone pointed it out to me. So I'll have to decide if I want to use it, or get something newer.

You are close. Try this. Click that first link above. A new tab/window will open showing your photo. See the download arrow in the lower right corner ?( I circled it in red) LEFT click on the arrow. A small menu will pop open. LEFT click View All Sizes. A new window opens with your photo in it. This is the default size, but lots of other size options are listed above the photo. This one is the size Large 1024 shown in black letters. You can pick an alternate size if you want, but I always use whatever Flickr defaults to. RIGHT click anywhere in that photo. A small menu opens. LEFT click on Copy Image Location.

Now back to the tab / window with our forum in it. From a reply box, LEFT click on the Insert Image icon. A small Insert Image window opens. Delete the default http:// entry. Then RIGHT click inside that Image URL box, and paste. You images Flickr address will show up. Until you click on Create Post to complete your reply, you will only see the code and tags for the image, not the image itself. It will look like this.
