Replaced the stock steering wheel on my 1973 SE with a new wheel with the center push. New steering wheel does not have the ground screw that the original wheel did. Kept the original wheel contact and when all connected with the new push depressed ( I assumed that the center contact on the push was the live contact and the one on the periphery was the ground ) the circuit has power, but the key buzzer silences and the horn will not sound. I did replace the key buzzer/horn relay. I must be missing something obvious. Any thoughts would be appreciated Thanks

Glad you got it bword. Sometime making aftermarket parts fit and function can be a little tricky.

What was it? Just in case when I need to redo my horn and steering column and wheel. Thanks
