Does anyone know what the actual current draw is supposed to be? Out of curiosity I checked mine and it was pulling 11.56 amps in high. The fuse holder was getting pretty warm so I'm wondering if that old motor is starting to drag some.

I can't specifically answer your question, but I can tell you this. Since I replaced my old blower motor what a difference. Mine actually blew a fuse on a trip to Canada one year. They are not that expensive and simple to pull from the engine compartment, just change it.

on my car, is able to be about 1/4-1/3 of the amm reading with car off, so that would be around 12-15 amps... this is a killer load accesory on high speed. Same than wipers.
