well heres some pics heres a few of the new engine ready for its new home found some surprises when I started taking the motor out (1) carb adapter loose barely hand tight huge vac and fuel leak (2) all vac lines rotted just falling apart (3) ex manifold leaks (4) rubber patches all over the trans cooling lines (5) poorly spiced wiring repairs (6) leaky freeze plugs (7) water pump bearing shot (8) power steering leaks at fittings Just bought it in may wasn't to concerned with the engine and trans planed on pulling it anyway I have plenty of motors and trans and rear ends kicking around but was surprised it ran so well with all the vac and exhaust leaks I found. spares needing rebuild 1-440s 1-383 3-400s built ready to roll 1-528 1-440 well will post progress as I go. long way before this car is were I see it in my head. That looks like a fun project Bill. You're going to have a LOT of fun with that 528.

thanks I hope so.
future plans involve a set of custom ross pistons have the block and heads oringed and a pro charger with inter cooler. Its the hot set up up here theres a couple guys in my car club putting over 800hp to the rear wheels with them on pump gas and there street driven.
there brand x but if they can do it with 350cid/383cid what would 528cid do.
its prob a couple yrs away just trying to get it in and have some fun for now but always seaching for a way to go faster.
