Some of the threads are old and pics not accessible or blurry.
Does anybody have reference dimensions of where the Reverse warning lamp hole is drilled.
Thanks in Advance.

Not sure why this website won't display my images, you may need to right click and open it in a new window or tab in your browser. BTW, this is from a 1971 Charger R/T but I believe your '72 would be the same unless it also has the seat belt lamp.

I have these reference photos saved (likely from threads here). As you can see, they do not agree on location. That could be the factory sticking it in a general area without a template or guide. It could be one was added by a restorer / owner, and not put in the correct place. The second photo certainly "looks" older and more original/aged. Third photo...it's worth noting that having both a seat belt and reverse lamp was possible, at least according to this photo.

Ha! I have that one. Maybe you are the one I saved it from! Your link, pasted below, works for me.
Edit: And now it doesn't.

I took some rough measurements today on 4 cars. Was going to do a few more but stopped after seeing they're all kind of in the general area, but nothing exactly the same. All Lynch road cars. The holes are 0.75" diameter. 1972. 3.75" from pad to top of bezel. Using a pair of calipers, from the 90 in the ash tray cutout recess (like pics above) measured 2.44" to the outside of the bezel (far side). 1972. About 4" from pad to top of hole (so 4.375" to center). 1.2" from edge (measured same as above) to edge of the hole. So add 0.375" for a total of 1.575" to center of the hole. 1974. About 4.75" from pad to center of hole. 1.3305" from lip to edge of hole. Same deal, add half of 0.75" for center of the hole. 1974. About 4 1/8" from pad to top of bezel. From the lip to the outside of the bezel was 2.54".
